How to Add Beads to a Knitted Project
This quick class (1.5 hours) will teach you how to add seed beads to any project as you knit it. By using a crochet hook, strategically place beads as you go. You will work on a swatch during the class. It can be any pattern and yarn of your choice, but fingering weight yarn is recommended. Seed beads size 8/0 - 6/0, or bigger, are also recommended, but not necessary. You can bring any beads you have to discuss and perhaps use in class. You may also buy any beads, yarn, needles and hooks as needed for your project during the class at the store. Any materials you buy in-store for the class will be at a 10% discount!

| Requirements: | - Must BRING A SWATCH with stitches cast on and a few rows completed to work with during class. Bring the started swatch (pattern of your choice), yarn and needles. Fingering weight yarn is recommended, but not necessary. - You may bring your own beads, or buy from the selection of seed beads we have available in-store to fit the size and color you want. Bead sizes will depend on yarn weight- seed beads size 8/0 or 6/0 are preferred for fingering weight yarn, but other sizes could be also used. - crochet hook: sizes 0.5mm - 1mm (depending on bead size) are preferred, you may bring one you have, or buy in store as needed. |
