Fall Colorwork Sweater Class
Knit a gorgeous yolk sweater, top-down, in 2 or more colors, using stranded colorwork method with worsted or DK weight yarn. Donna will walk you through every step in 6 sessions, starting October 20th and finishing right before Thanksgiving, by November 24th. Using the pattern called Goldwing, by Jennifer Steingass (available through Ravelry for $8- you can buy in store or online)

| Skill Details: | Must Know Basics of Knitting: Casting on, Knit and purl stitches, binding off. Some experience knitting a sweater and with colorwork is preferred, but not necessary. |
| Requirements: | - Yarn: Worsted or DK weight, 2 colors: main color approx. 985 - 1,970 yds and contrasting color approx. 250 - 400 yds for all sizes. - Needles: US 4 (16" or double points), US 5 (32" long), US 6 (for colorwork cuffs- 16" OR double points OR a 32" long using magic loop). - Pattern: "Goldwing" by Jenn Steingass @knit.love.wool (available for purchase through Ravelry for $8; you may purchase in store or on your own for the class) - Pre-work: Make a gauge swatch Using US 5 needles in stockinet stitch (following pattern directions or ask us for further help) |
