Colorwork Swoncho Class
Nicole will walk you through knitting this stranded colorwork top, that is seamlessly made top-down, with a circular yoke in multiple colors (original pattern uses 4 different colors), using DK weight yarn. The pattern used is called Ninilchik Swoncho, by Caitlin Hunter (available in store and Ravelry for $9), and it comes in 2 sizes that fit a wide range of bodies (XS-M or L-3X) that will feel like a blanket hug you will not want to take off! You might want to make this for you AND as a stylish gift for a loved one this winter.

| Skill Details: | Must be proficient in the basics of knitting (Casting on, Binding off, knit and purl stitches). No prior experience knitting stranded colorwork needed, but helpful, as well as going in the round, making short rows and following charts. |
| Requirements: | -Yarn: DK weight, approx. 1,500 - 2,020 yards total in 2+ colors (pattern written with 4 contrasting colors). MC ~ 1,100yds; CC1~ 320yds; CC2 ~ 320yds; CC3 ~ 280yds. - Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) AND US 6 (4mm) in 16" or shorter and 24", 40"+ circulars, and DPNs (or cables long enough for magic loop) in both sizes. - Pattern: Ninilchik Swoncho, by Caitlin Hunter (available for purchase in store and through Ravelry for $9). - * prework: 8 rows of neck ribbing (1x1 in the round) - class will start past the initial neck ribbing. |
